General information

CaeManager is the central engineering tool in the APROL system and enables end-to-end configuration and project configuration for your system – from decentralized I/O modules and fieldbus connections to open-loop and closed-loop control tasks through to the operating and monitoring level.

Engineering is carried out intuitively via a graphical user interface based on IEC 61131-3. Function blocks and control modules from the APROL standard libraries and customized libraries can be easily added and combined with each other.

Engineering is carried out intuitively via a centralized engineering database. All engineering data is stored centrally in a database. This database can be backed up and restored directly via CaeManager – for maximum data security and simple project management.

CaeManager is designed for working in parallel: Several project engineers can work simultaneously on the same project throughout the network. This speeds up configuration and increases flexibility in the engineering process.

The project structure can be freely selected or created according to S88, AKS, KKS or other standards. An explorer-like tree view provides a clear overview. Various views – such as the project view, private processing status or typified views – support individual working methods of the engineers.

Each project engineer can save and filter their own bookmarks and work versions for project parts in order to quickly access relevant areas.

Intelligent engineering tips support the user during configuration and help to avoid incorrect entries or misconfigurations.
