Automatic version management in CaeManager
CaeManager offers a powerful, automatic version management system for your projects. Every change to a project part is fully documented – so the complete version history is always stored in the project in a traceable and audit-compliant manner.
Automatic versioning with every change
If you save a change, for example to a process screen, CaeManager automatically creates a new version of this element. The following detailed information is recorded:

Original version
Project engineer
Version comment
Flexible version comments
The version comments can be used individually. For certain projects – for example in accordance with 21 CFR Part 11 or GAMP 5 – the entry of a comment is mandatory and can be configured depending on the project.
Recovery and ChangeControl logging
Earlier versions can be easily restored at any time. Every recovery is fully logged by the integrated ChangeControl logging in accordance with 21 CFR Part 11 and GAMP5.
Version labeling for maximum traceability
Enabled versions of individual project parts can be given a label and thus clearly assigned to a version status including date and time – for maximum transparency and traceability.
