ChangeControl offers comprehensive monitoring and documentation of all user activities in engineering. All relevant actions are automatically recorded in a central database and thus form the complete AuditTrail for your engineering project.

ChangeControl logs all details of each action, including:

Action sources such as project engineering, library engineering, user management and the download manager

Action types such as enable/disable, compile, version, confirm/unconfirm and many more

This creates a complete and traceable history of all changes and approvals.

ChangeControl is always active automatically – no separate configuration is required and incorrect configurations are ruled out. This means that all ChangeControl data is available securely and reliably at all times.

Labels of libraries:
Labeling assigns a unique "stamp" to an entire library and activates deletion protection for all enabled blocks.

Confirming versions:
Project parts can be explicitly confirmed. This means that it is always clear that the status is functional, tested and approved.

You can use labels (textual designations) to group and save any number of versions of library modules. A label change automatically restores all blocks to a common previous version status – ideal for quick rollbacks or reproducible configurations.

Analyze differences between two labels in detail:

Generate customized reports of all changes:

Each project part is given a unique version number. When changes are made, the previous version is automatically archived in the APROL database – for a seamless history. You can enable earlier versions at any time via the CaeManager and load them onto the controllers.

The ChangeControl application is fully integrated into APROL and stores all data centrally in a powerful database. This enables secure and efficient management of all engineering and configuration data.

ChangeControl records and documents all configuration changes to project parts such as user management, hardware modules, CFC, SFC, graphic images and templates. The historical display of all changes made completes revision management and ensures maximum transparency throughout the entire engineering process.

The desired historical data can be retrieved with effective performance via web clients. This means that all information is available for analysis and tracking at any time and from any location.

Access rights are controlled via the user management system, which enables a specific definition of rights for each user. This ensures that only authorized persons have access to sensitive configuration data – an important contribution to meeting security and compliance requirements.
