Multilingual availability
APROL releases are provided in German (de) and English (en) by default. This also applies to all APROL system documentation.
Flexible translation options
With the integrated TranslationManager, users can conveniently create and maintain missing translations for APROL system software modules (e.g. DisplayCenter) and their own projects themselves.
Different degrees of translation
In addition to German and English, numerous other languages are available with varying degrees of translation. The complete translation of the engineering modules is usually not necessary, since this function is primarily used for operating and monitoring stations (operator stations).

Support for all alphabets and character systems
Thanks to UNICODE support (UTF-8), all alphabets and character systems used worldwide can be displayed in APROL. Specific information and texts can be stored for each language for the parallel use of multiple languages, for example in the HMI application.
Language-dependent HMI application and alarm texts
HMI:
APROL enables language switching to all supported target languages. Texts in process screens are automatically displayed in the selected language at runtime.
Alarm texts:
Alarm messages can be translated into alternative languages and displayed on the operator station and in the alarm report in the respective language.
Efficient management of translations
All HMI texts (e.g. from libraries, faceplates, tooltips) are brought together in a compendium to avoid duplicate translations. The TranslationManager offers convenient translation of HMI texts in list form. A status system for original and translated texts as well as translation suggestions based on a loadable compendium ensure effective translation performance.
Automated download of translation texts
The translation texts are automatically made available to the control computers via the usual download mechanism so that current language versions are always available.
