Efficient teamwork without access conflicts

With concurrent engineering in APROL, multiple project engineers can work securely on the same project at the same time. All configuration data is stored centrally on the engineering server, ensuring smooth and coordinated access.

Coordinated access to project parts

The centralized database server controls all access to the engineering data and individual project parts. If a project part is edited by an engineer, this area is automatically available to other team members on a read-only basis. This reliably prevents conflicts and overwriting.

Flexible offline engineering

Project parts can be checked out for further external processing and outsourced to another engineering server. During editing, these parts remain read-only in the central database and can still be viewed by other users.

Re-check-in and approval

Once offline processing is complete, the project parts are checked in again, which removes the write protection. All other areas of the project remain fully editable in the meantime.

Seamless documentation using ChangeControl

All changes – including those made offline – are fully documented in an audit-compliant manner thanks to the integrated version management and ChangeControl logging (in accordance with 21 CFR Part 11, GAMP 5).
